Seager has returned to throwing Monday but may require offseason surgery to address his elbow injury, the Orange County Register reports.
An MRI on Seager's shoulder found inflammation, potentially caused by a bone spur or bone chips. If that is the case, Seager would be able to undergo offseason surgery and return in time for the beginning of spring training. Seager's week off from game action has been described as "super-super-cautious" and likely wouldn't be happening if not for the Dodgers' massive lead in the National League West standing. Expect him back in the lineup sometime during the club's upcoming series with Colorado, which begins Thursday.
