Hunter Stratton: Moves into free agency

Stratton became a free agent Friday after being non-tendered by the Pirates, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Stratton is 27 years old and has made only eight career appearances at the major-league level. He holds an underwhelming 4.66 ERA in 143 career innings of work at Triple-A.
