Marlins' Jeff Lindgren: Selected to active roster

The Marlins selected Lindgren's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday.

Lindgren has split time between Double-A and Triple-A this season, turning in a 6.19 ERA and 1.70 WHIP across 75.2 total innings. Despite his poor performance, he'll be called upon to give the Marlins some innings out of the bullpen for the final stretch of the season. Jonathan Bermudez was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.
