Andriese is signing with the Yomiuri Giants of the NPB in Japan, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
Andriese pitched for the Red Sox and Mariners in 2021, posting a 5.21 ERA and 1.61 WHIP across 48.1 innings. He has pitched nearly exclusively out of the bullpen since 2019 but was primarily a starter earlier in his career. It's unclear how the Giants plan to use Andriese, though he may have the opportunity to stick in the rotation.
