Orioles' Konner Wade: Sent to Triple-A

Wade was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk after Tuesday's 14-8 loss to the Angels. He surrendered five runs on six hits and two walks with zero strikeouts over 1.1 innings.

The right-hander was called upon to eat up some innings after starter Spenser Watkins was tagged for eight runs, but Wade needed 40 pitches to record only four outs. He has now given up 11 runs across 8.2 big-league innings this season.
