Orioles' Louis Head: Called up from minors

The Orioles recalled Head from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday.

Head will be joining the big club for the first time since the Orioles claimed him off waivers from the Marlins on July 12. During his month-long stay at Norfolk, Head struck out 12 and allowed three earned runs on four hits and seven walks over eight innings.
