Orioles' Terrin Vavra: Protected from Rule 5 draft

Vavra was added to Baltimore's 40-man roster Friday, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

He doesn't hit for as much power as the prospects the Orioles typically go after, but Vavra logged a .388 OBP at Double-A last season. Look for him to spend the bulk of 2022 at Triple-A.
