Evans went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Tigers.
Evans was responsible for one of two Pirates runs in the contest, slugging a 419-foot solo shot in the sixth inning. The long ball was his fourth of the campaign and first since April 10. He is still hitting a healthy .293 on the season but has gone only 2-for-22 over his past six games.
