Rangers' Eli White: Homers Tuesday

White (elbow) went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's spring training game against the Diamondbacks.

White served as the designated hitter for the second time this spring, as the elbow injury is preventing him from lining up in the field at this time. He drove a curveball from Madison Bumgarner over the fence in center field, showing off the new swing that's been the early talk in camp, per Levi Weaver of The Athletic. Texas hitting coach Donnie Eckler has been impressed, though he said it's too early to tell if White's offseason swing-path adjustments have "stuck."
