Rays' Jordan Luplow: Recovering from ankle surgery

Luplow underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Luplow apparently played through the ankle injury down the stretch, and he even contributed a grand slam during the ALDS loss to the Red Sox. The 28-year-old is expected to be healthy for the start of spring training in February and will have three-plus months to recover.
