Lopez was recalled from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.
Lopez spent some time with the major-league club in June and July, and he'll now rejoin the Reds as part of Wednesday's roster expansion. The 25-year-old went 6-for-19 with three runs and three strikeouts across 11 games in his first big-league action this year and will serve as infield depth for Cincinnati.
