Shane Carle: Let go by Rangers

The Rangers released Carle on Monday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

Though Carle made six MLB appearances with the Braves in 2019, his poor results with the big club and subsequent struggles at the Triple-A level resulted in him entering 2020 without an invite to big-league spring training. Carle was still expected to claim a spot in the Triple-A Nashville bullpen, but his release now results him heading back on the open market.
