Tigers' Wenceel Perez: Receiving Friday off

Perez is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers.

Perez started the previous five contests and will head to the bench after going 6-for-21 with a double, a stolen base, an RBI and three runs. Ryan Vilade, who was called up from Triple-A Toledo on Friday, will start in right field.
