Twins' Tim Beckham: Clears waivers

The Twins outrighted Beckham to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.

Beckham was dropped from the Twins' 40-man roster last week, when Minnesota needed to open up a spot for outfielder Kyle Garlick, who was reinstated from the injured list. During his month-long stint in the big leagues, Beckham appeared in 12 games and went 2-for-25 with nine strikeouts. The 32-year-old looks like he'll stick around in the organization as a depth infielder at Triple-A.
