Wilson Ramos: Cut loose by Texas

The Rangers released Ramos on Sept. 10.

After signing a minor-league deal with Texas in mid-August, Ramos saw action in just three games for Triple-A Round Rock before the organization elected to cut ties with him. Ramos turned 35 years old in August and may be running out of chances to re-emerge as a big-league catcher.
