Mitchell was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
Mitchell made the Yankees' Opening Day roster as a bullpen arm but was demoted to Triple-A on May 1 after posting a 6.35 ERA over his first 11.1 innings of relief. Though he posted just a 4.00 ERA with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Mitchell will return to the big-league bullpen as a low-leverage relief arm.
