Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Participating in camp

Mitchell (calf) participated during Tuesday's practice at training camp.

Mitchell missed the final two games of the Cavaliers' Eastern Conference semifinal round loss to the Celtics with a left calf strain, but it's no surprise to see him at full strength to open camp. Mitchell won't have any distractions this season after recently agreeing to a three-year, $150.3 million extension. During the 2023-24 regular season, Mitchell compiled averages of 26.6 points, 6.1 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 3.3 three-pointers.
