Horford (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) played 34 minutes and delivered 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt), nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block Monday in the Celtics' 108-103 loss to the Timberwolves.

The most significant of the three Boston players who made his return from the health and safety protocols Monday, Horford delivered a well-rounded, if understated line in his first game since Dec. 13. With Jayson Tatum entering the protocols Monday and likely to miss at least a few more games, Horford should take on greater usage in the Boston offense, though he'll still likely play second fiddle to Jaylen Brown. Perhaps more surprisingly, Horford also took a backseat to Payton Pritchard, who doubled him up in shot attempts while playing a whopping 45 minutes as a replacement in the starting five for Marcus Smart (hand).
