The Celtics assigned Scheierman to the Maine Celtics of the G League on Thursday.

Scheierman is averaging just 1.3 points in 6.0 minutes across three appearances for the Celtics this season. The rookie guard will likely continue to bounce back and forth between the NBA and the G League as the club looks to offer him some increased opportunities at playing time.
