Wright was placed in the league's health and safety protocols Monday, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The Clippers signed Wright to a 10-day hardship contract Dec. 21, but he made just one brief appearance during his stint in the NBA. Once he clears protocols, he will likely head back to the G League, which doesn't resume play until Jan. 4.
