The Warriors waived Plowden on Tuesday.
Plowden had previously agreed to a two-way deal with the Warriors but will now start the 2024-25 campaign as a free agent. The 25-year-old shouldn't have much trouble finding his way on a G League roster, though it's unclear if he'll be able to land an Exhibit 10 deal with another organization before the start of the NBA regular season.
