Drew Timme: Let go by Nets

The Nets waived Timme on Monday, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.

As Brooklyn begins to make roster decisions ahead of the regular season, Timme failed to make the cut. However, it's possible he'll resurface with the G League's Long Island Nets. Timme averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 28.2 minutes across nine regular-season games (two starts) with Brooklyn at the end of last season.
