Strus ended with 26 points (10-18 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal over 41 minutes during Thursday's 115-112 win over Detroit.
Strus got back on track in the victory, continuing what has been a mini-breakout for the sharpshooter. Of all the role players to step up over the past couple of weeks, Strus has been by far the most consistent. While the eventual return of Jimmy Butler will limit his opportunities, there is a world in which Strus actually sees more playing time than Duncan Robinson, and perhaps rightfully so.
