JD Davison: Waived by Boston

The Celtics waived Davison on Thursday, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

After spending his first three seasons in the NBA with Boston, Davison will be looking for a fresh start. The Alabama product appeared in 16 regular-season games during the 2024-25 campaign, but he saw the floor rarely, averaging 5.8 minutes per game.
