Kendall Brown: Waived Thursday

Brown was waived by the Celtics on Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Brown will not make the final cut for the Celtics' Opening Night roster, so he'll likely be heading to the G League. Brown was on a two-way contract with the Nets in 2024-25, and he was a standout player for Long Island in the G League with 16.1 points per game on 57 percent shooting from the field.
