Lakers' Marcus Smart: Starting Friday

Smart will start in Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Dan Woike of The Athletic reports.

Smart will return from a two-game absence due to a right quadriceps contusion and join the starting five. The veteran guard has appeared in three regular-season games (one start) so far, averaging 7.7 points, 2.0 assists, 1.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 24.7 minutes per contest.
