The Jets elevated Brown from the practice squad Saturday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
The Jets shipped Brown to the Chiefs at the trade deadline, but he didn't make an appearance for the latter before he was waived Nov. 20. He found his way back to New York as a practice squad member, getting elevated by the Jets in each of the last three games. That said, Brown has mostly been relegated to special teams, earning 64 snaps in that phase of the game versus just 11 on offense.
