Perine is signing with Kansas City's practice squad Wednesday, Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest reports.
Kansas City cut Perine on Tuesday while keeping Isiah Pacheco, Jerick McKinnon and Clyde Edwards-Helaire on the roster at running back. Perine made 14 NFL appearances for the Jets between 2020 and 2021 but hasn't played in a regular-season game since.
