Foote wasn't given a qualifying offer by Nashville, so he will become an unrestricted free agent Saturday, per John Glennon of NHL.com.
Foote had two goals, seven points, 58 hits and 52 blocks in 50 contests between Tampa Bay and Nashville last season. The Predators acquired Foote from the Lightning on Feb. 26 as part of the Tanner Jeannot trade.
