Belliveau didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Sabres, and he'll become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.
Belliveau played exclusively for AHL Rochester during 2025-26, generating a goal, five assists and 49 PIM across 36 regular-season appearances. He hasn't yet made his NHL debut and will seek out other opportunities ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
