Kampf (upper body) skated in his usual spot on Toronto's third line during Thursday's practice, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Kampf was held out of the final two periods of Wednesday's win over LA for precautionary reasons, but his presence at Thursday's practice puts him on track to play Friday versus San Jose. The 26-year-old forward has collected three goals and six points through 21 games this campaign.
