Recently ousted former PGA of America president Ted Bishop opened up recently about his firing and, oddly, pointed a finger at Patrick Reed.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Bishop noted that what Reed said at the HSBC Champions was far worse than what Bishop himself got fired for saying.

"I think I got a raw deal," said Bishop, who was fired for calling Ian Poulter a "lil girl" on Twitter. "Take Patrick Reed as an example. Patrick's remarks were far more inflammatory than my remarks."

Bishop is referencing the language and gay slur Reed used in November that was caught on camera.

"When I talk to people with the PGA Tour about how they would handle players who had tweeted far worse things than I did, this was really an extreme reaction," he continued.

So yeah, he's probably correct technically, but it doesn't read very well for Bishop. Especially given that Reed was one of the stars of his 2014 Ryder Cup team.
