The Angels have avoided arbitration with pitcher Hector Santiago, confirms CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman. The agreement was initially reported by MLB.com.
Santiago is set to receive $2.29 million next season. The 27-year-old is coming off a season in which he posted a 3.75 ERA over 127 1/3 innings.
