Bryce Harper gets nude, talks sweets for ESPN's 'Body Issue'
Claims he loves donuts and ice cream while maintaining 8 percent body fat and being able to squat lift 405 pounds. Donuts and ice cream -- right!
Not only is Nationals star Bryce Harper having the best season of his young major league career, he's going around without any clothes, showing off his muscular but trim physique for people taking his picture. In the forthcoming "Body Issue" of ESPN the Magazine, Harper claims he loves donuts and ice cream while also informing us that he has 8 percent body fat, and can squat 405 pounds. He explains this to video producers while nude, presumably, like he was while posing for photographers:

Holy Christmas, he's filthy. Even if that's just infield dirt from sliding hard into second base.
In a brief but fun interview, we also learn what Harper thinks about his abs:
I wish my abs were a little bit better. God gave me a great body, but I think my abs could be better than they are.
And rest:
Sleep is huge. That's your biggest way of recovering. In baseball, it's such a hard sleep schedule during the season, but you try to do the best you can. Because you can take all the protein drinks, you can do all these things, but your recovery is your sleep
And his "mom's cookies" (don't laugh, it's not nice!):
So what I do: I'll put the cookies inside the microwave for, like, 12 seconds. It's got to be 12 seconds. And then I'll grab the ice cream and I'll make an ice cream sandwich. And I mean it's unbelievable. I have my cheat days.
Harper doubles down in the video, saying, "I love ice cream, I love donuts." In fact, here he is eating one:
Bryce Harper -- with his 24 home runs, .340 batting average and 709 slugging percentage -- is still just 22 years old. Donuts and ice cream!
