Casper Wells never had much of a chance to settle in as a regular with the Mariners, but he showed some power potential in his 124 games with them. Picked up off waivers by the Blue Jays, Wells gets a chance at a fresh start.
Granted, he will probably have an even harder time cracking the lineup in Toronto, but if Adam Lind continues to struggle or Colby Rasmus falls into an extended funk, the opportunity is there for Wells to get some playing time. His flyball-hitting ways are a great fit for Rogers Centre, and even with semi-regular starts, he could provide enough power to be helpful in deeper Rotisserie leagues.
Wells is currently just a deep AL-only option, but owners should keep an eye on how his role develops, as he could be useful to a much larger share of Fantasy owners if things break right.
