Free agent first baseman Corey Hart, who did not play in 2013 after undergoing multiple knee surgeries, was medically cleared to resume all baseball-related activities, according to MLB.com.
Hart spent his first nine seasons with Milwaukee and batted .276/.334/.491 with 154 home runs, 508 RBI and 83 stolen bases in 3,443 career at-bats with the Brewers. He has been pursued by the Brewers, Red Sox, Rockies and Rays.
