Daniel Klein placed on voluntary retirement list

Orioles pitching prospect Daniel Klein has been placed on the voluntary retirement list, MASN Sports reports. Klein has had multiple procedures on his pitching shoulder, sidelining him since the 2011 season.

A third-round pick of the Orioles in 2010, Klein made just 21 minor-league appearances before shutting it down.
