Dodgers call up top prospect Joc Pederson
The Dodgers have called up their top prospect and Pacific Coast League MVP Joc Pederson.

Consider Joc Pederson to be among the top prospects you'll get to see during the expanded-roster period of September. The Dodgers on Monday called up the 22-year-old outfielder and freshly crowned Pacific Coast League MVP (and former owner of a 1994 Buick Century).
By the sounds of things, Pederson could be seeing some time in center during the month of September ...
Don Mattingly on Joc Pederson: "The people in our organization that have seen him the most say he's the best CF in our organization."

Pederson entered this season ranked by Baseball America as the No. 34 overall prospect, and he no doubt improved his standing by hitting .303/.435/.582 and joining the 30-30 club at Triple-A Albuquerque.
The Dodgers originally drafted Pederson with an 11th-round pick out of Palo Alto (CA) High School in 2010.
