As expected, the Red Sox optioned outfielder Jackie Bradley to Triple-A Pawtucket after the first game of Saturday's doubleheader to open up a 25-man roster spot for returning right fielder Shane Victorino, who was activated from the disabled list.
Bradley, who didn't play in the first game of the doubleheader Saturday, went 5 for 21 with one home run, three RBI and four runs scored over seven games in his second stint with the Red Sox this season.
