Jarrod Parker quality in return

Athletics starter Jarrod Parker took the mound Saturday against Kansas City after leaving his last start with a hamstring issue. Parker wasn't bothered by the hamstring, but he couldn't earn the win, either. 

Parker settled for a no-decision in the game as he allowed three runs -- two earned -- on five hits and three walks over 6 1/3 innings for a quality start. He struck out four.

Parker, who has an ERA of 4.04, currently has a streak of four consecutive winning decisions still going as he didn't factor in Saturday. He'll look to move a game over .500 when he next takes the hill Friday against Boston.
