Jon Jay posts perfect day at plate Sunday

Jon Jay was perfect at the plate Sunday. The Cardinals center fielder went 3 for 3 with two walks, a run scored and two RBI in a Grapefruit League loss against the Mets.

It was by far Jay's best Grapefruit League game of the season. Jay was hitting a mere .208 entering the game; now he owns a .255/.339/.392 line in 51 spring at-bats. He will be the Cardinals' opening day center fielder.
