Rockies first baseman Justin Morneau was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup due to a stiff neck, the team announced.
Morneau has played in 13 of the team's 14 games in August, and he's recorded at least one hit in each of his last 10 games. He has hit .323/.364/.504 with 13 home runs and 65 RBI in 393 at-bats.
