Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira was uncharacteristically tight-lipped when asked about his injured wrist before Sunday's game against the Rays, ESPN reports.
Teixeira, who received a cortisone shot last Sunday, will be re-evaluated by team hand specialist Dr. Melvin Rosenwasser either Sunday or early next week.
Asked how he was doing Sunday, Teixeira said, "I'm doing nothing right now. No news."
Teixeira was asked if he was still experiencing pain in the wrist: "I really don't want to talk about anything right now," he said. "We'll discuss it at the appropriate time."
