Mets pitcher Vic Black has been diagnosed with a small disk herniation in the right side of his neck, the team announced Monday.
The injury is causing triceps muscle weakness in the pitcher, who has been sidelined since mid-March due to a shoulder injury. Despite the additional injury, the Mets say that he has improved since his previous exam. He'll undergo therapy and be re-examined in one week.
