Giants outfielder Michael Morse snapped an 11-game homerless streak Thursday, in a 6-5 win over the Cardinals.

Morse went deep in the second inning to put the Giants on the board, though it was a later hit that really proved key. He put the Giants up for good in the eighth inning, breaking a 4-4 tie with a two-run double, to finish the game 2 for 4 with three RBI.

Even with his recent power drought, Morse remains sixth in the National League with 11 home runs. He is also third with 37 RBI, while hitting .290/.345/.568 in 176 at-bats.
