Rangers right-hander Ryan Dempster, who was recently placed on the restricted list for "personal reasons," will return to the team in time to start Monday at home against the Orioles, tweets Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.
Grant also notes that, in order to slot Demspter back into the rotation, the remaining Texas starters will be pushed back one day in order to provide extra rest.
Overall this season, the 35-year-old Dempster has a 3.12 ERA in 121.1 innings pitched; however, his ERA is 8.31 in three starts since being acquired by the Rangers at the non-waiver trade deadline.
