Red Sox outfielder Shane Victorino (hamstring) was on the field taking batting practice, fielding and running before Tuesday's game at Seattle. Victorino then returned to the starting lineup against the Mariners, the Boston Herald reports.
He had been out since leaving Saturday's game. Victorino enters Tuesday batting .301 over his last 17 games with seven doubles, two triples and a homer with 11 RBI. He's batting .285 overall.
