With the postseason right around the corner, TBS has released a nearly six-minute long "commercial" for the American League playoffs (the NL playoffs will air on Fox). And it's the former Dentist of the Stars (Tim Whatley) turned into meth-cooking badass Walter White. Yes, it's Bryan Cranston performing a mock "one-man show."
It contains references to Derek Jeter, Kirk Gibson, an Orioles pie in the face, a Pedro Martinez cameo and so much more goodness. Observe:
Though I'm not excited to hear the MLB postseason song -- which will summarily test our collective wills to continue living -- this was outstanding. Great job, TBS.
Looks like you're up now, Fox. Good luck.
