From the catcher position, tracking down a popup is no simple task.

First you have to fling the mask, then turn around, find the ball, and lumber your way into position while in full gear. Then, most importantly, you have to account for the wind, which must have been swirling during the Northwest Athletic Conference semifinal baseball game between Everett and Lower Columbia College.

Lower Columbia's Cameron Campbell stepped into the box and fouled a popup behind home plate. Everett catcher Connor O'Brien located the ball and got under it, but was forced to make a last-second adjustment when the wind picked up.

Just as the ball came down he realized he was too far forward and leaped backwards with his bare hand to make an absolutely incredible catch.

The second replay is the best because you can hear the Everett bench hooting and howling after O'Brien makes the grab.

Everett went on to win the game, 6-1, but fell to Yakima Valley, 5-2, in the championship game.
