In addition to being one of the most productive catchers in baseball, Athletics backstop Stephen Vogt is also a Grade-A clubhouse jokester. His NBA referee impression was must-see television last August.
During a television interview on Friday, Vogt broke out another impression, this one of Chris Farley's classic Saturday Night Live character Matt Foley, the motivational speaker. Check it out:
Gosh, that's just tremendous. Vogt's awesome.
By the way, Vogt comes into Saturday hitting .324/.419/.606 (184 OPS+) with 10 home runs and 34 RBI. Dude can rake too. He's not just a pretty face for the camera.
